From its foundation, OMNI-Lab NBS was designed as a patient-centric solution. While other LIMS systems have sample ID numbers as the top-level hierarchy, OMNI-Lab NBS is organized around patients – allowing for better visibility and faster intervention when needed.

• Results are viewed at the patient level, not as individual samples. 
• Duplicates, repeat samples, and STAT samples are all connected to the patient. 
• Get a clearer picture with visibility into family units. If an older sibling was positive during a previous screen, the newborn sibling can be flagged as critical sample and processed accordingly.

OMNI-Lab NBS adapts to your workflow and your choice of instrumentation whether you are setting up a new lab, replacing older equipment, or upgrading your LIMS system. OMNI-Lab NBS is vendor-agnostic and will interface with your equipment, including dry blood spot punchers, liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry systems, and molecular diagnostics platforms.

OMNI-Lab is designed to maximize lab efficiency, including data entry, results reporting and review. OMNI-Lab NBS is a fully OBDC compliant database, allowing for searching, filtering, sorting, and reporting across all data elements.
