Waters Corporation is hosting a free event on Wednesday June 5th to bring together the regional drug chemistry and forensic toxicology community in an educational forum on advancing analytical methods and their application in forensic casework. The program will be held in person at the Waters Corporation Demonstration Lab and Lecture Hall in Carmel, Indiana. The program will include speaker presentations on:  

  • Carfentanil and nitazine analysis by LC/MS-MS
  • Easy to use automation for your laboratory
  • Xylazine, Medetomidine, and highlighting the importance of open communication between drug chemistry
    and toxicology departments with respect to emerging drug trends
  • Forensic Toxicology Screening by LC/QToF Mass Spectrometry

Following the lunch break there will be live demonstrations of the Waters Andrew+ automation robot, and the Radian ASAP and RDA time of flight mass spectrometer for seized drug analysis. We hope you will join us to see these systems in action. There is no registration fee. Lunch will be provided free of charge by Waters Corporation. The program is open to forensic toxicology professionals and to students with career interest in the field of forensic toxicology. Participants should be familiar with basic principles of liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, tandem mass spectrometry, time-of-flight mass spectrometry analyzers, and sample preparation techniques. Seating is limited so register today!
