Symmetry Shield Columns feature the Waters patented embedded polar group technology that shields the silica's residual silanols from highly basic analytes and improves overall peak shape. Placing the embedded polar group close to the silica surface further reduces surface silanol activity, and the embedded polar group technology allows you to improve chromatographic peak shape and selectivity in the most challenging of method conditions.

All Symmetry300 columns are QC tested with peptide samples to ensure exceptional batch-to-batch reproducibility. These wide-pore (300 Å), reversed-phase chromatography columns deliver superior performance when simultaneously separating hydrophilic and hydrophobic peptides, neutral, and highly basic peptides.
